Movie Making

My bestie suggested that I put this up so that maybe it could help someone else!! I love her for it, and would NEVER have thought of publishing it on my own :) If it does help you or inspires you  to visualise your goals in creative ways, please let me know! I love helping people :)
My goals/dreams are like making a movie!
For me to have the life I desire, some things must be taken in order, much like making a movie.
First, I must have an idea. An idea of what I want, how much I want, etc.
Then, I must write a script. It must be so detailed that when I read it I can see all the players and places vividly, by using all my senses. They must resonate with my soul and I can rewrite them until they do.
I must believe with all my heart and soul that I have written a great script, one that the Universe can understand and deliver to me. I find someone(s) who believe in me and and holds me accountable for the steps I must take and cheer me on or tell me when I am deviating from the script (by having negative emotions or feeling like a failure). Just like any movie, shit IS going to happen, but my desire for the life MUST be greater than the shit storm that may be happening.
Then the advertisement for actors goes out! These are my supporting characters, the ones who help me get to where I want to go, help me in the steps of getting from the beginning of the movie to the end! There are so many who want to be in the movie and they try out and the ones most willing and able to help fill the roles. And to think, I can be a supporting person and help out in someone else's movie...that really jazzes me!!
The "players" are assembled, the script is in their hands, they feel the need to start. Ah, a lot happens here. It doesn't move in sync when filming begins. There may be multiple takes (dream didn't happen by given date), confusion as to how this is going to turn out, etc. But we don't worry about the how, we just keep to what our assignment is, keep working it and then one day, the director says, That's a wrap. That means the dream has been realised!! Once I put my order in with the Universe in clear and concise words and emotions, everything starts happening. Gratitude for even the tiniest thing will help the dream come that much faster.
...................................And the after party will be spectacular!!!

My mind today

I am listening to Thoughts Become Things on YouTube and the author is talking about visualising. I am paraphrasing what he said, " Instead of dwelling on your dreams multiple times a day and getting yourself psyched up, if you do this then you get really distracted living 2 worlds and you get depressed and give up. Just do it ONCE a day and then DROP it, get back to real life and being grateful for what you have now!!" Only spend actual visualisation time (where you KNOW you are doing it) once per day!

I was struck by the similarity to when one casts a spell. Visualise it, set your intent, raise your energy, have the belief set strongly, cast, then drop it. Then let the Universe deal with it!!

I thought it was really cool!
